Bitossi for Rosenthal Netter vase, ceramic, brown and white, signed. Tall chunky cylindrical vase with neck and base glazed in white with brown specks and a raw matte clay center. Signed with a Rosenthal Netter paper label on the underside. Made in Italy.

About the Artist: Rosenthal Netter imported Italian pottery and quality goods in the 60s and 70s, and were sold in upscale department stores and specialty stores. Guido Bitossi founded the brand in 1921, his family were already part of a centuries-old ceramics tradition. Bitossi ancestors had been kiln workers, sculptors, painters and potters in Montelupo Fiorentino, near Florence, since the 1530s.
