1960s VINTAGE CANVAS WASSILY B3 CHAIR BY MARCEL BREUER

Marcel Breuer 'Wassily' chair, produced before 1968 in Italy by Gavina. Authentic and stamped. The chair body is an original frame and was restored in a beautiful thick cream canvas to replicate its early design and style. Excellent craftsmanship and finish.

The Wassily chair, also known as the Model B3 chair, was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925–1926 while he was the head of the cabinet-making workshop at the Bauhaus, in Dessau, Germany.

Chair is in good vintage condition and structurally sound. Slight patina throughout the metal frame.
